Grants & Giving

Giving to the arts every year is the heart of the Pruitt Fund. Rather than a single gift, the fund makes steady annual grants so Kansas City artists and organizations can count on support year after year.

We focus on work that brings the arts within reach: free and low-cost performances and programs, Kansas City’s jazz and choral traditions, arts education for young people, and community arts organizations across the metro.

Bob and Helen Pruitt believed in education and in making music something everyone could share. Our grants honor that by favoring programs that welcome people of every age, income, and neighborhood.

Lead or represent a Kansas City arts organization? We would be glad to learn about your work. Use our Contact page to introduce your program and tell us how it opens the arts to more people.
